Creature Comforts

Hospital

My animal series is now part of the permanent collection at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. It has taken ages for all of it to come together but all twelve animals are hanging in the waiting area at the Bass Center for Childhood Cancers and Blood Diseases. I can only hope they will bring a little cheer and comfort to the families that have to spend any amount of time in that place.

This made my heart jump for joy! We have spent a lot of time with our little guy at Children's Hosp in Minneapolis over the past year (he is ok). Seeing bright colors and age-appropriate art was always a day brightener on dark days. To think of the kids and parents who will be uplifted by your adorable animals and the love that went into making them does my heart good. Your art will brighten so many families' lives and you may never know it, so I just want to tell you on their behalf. Blessings to you!!!

When we spent some time in childrens hops waiting rooms last year, I was thankful for all the fun art we could look at and pass the time with.

Your work is the perfect antidote for the sadness and stress of a hospital. Good for you, good for them, good for everyone!

your images are so humorous and sweet!
your animals are so comforting and personable...and for children in a sometimes scary place to be able to look at them....it just seems ideal.
